NAPRAPATHY
Naprapathy (na·prap·a·thy) is a holistic approach to restoring whole health and optimal function through gentle bodywork based on the fundamental principles of osteopathy, physical therapy and nutrition. This integrative healing art incorporates gentle soft tissue and joint mobilization techniques that leave you feeling better, healing better and working better.
Naprapathy targets vertebral misalignments and other musculoskeletal problems. It focuses on manual mobilization of spinal segments and their connecting tissues in order to increase mobility and improve overall function. It often incorporates multiple, complementary therapies, such as massage, nutritional counseling, electrical muscle stimulation and low-level laser therapy.
Studies have shown that where constriction of connective tissue exists, there will also be impaired blood flow and nerve function. Naprapathy attempts to correct these blockages through hands-on mobilization, gentle stretching and stimulation of the surrounding tissues.
Some of the conditions that can be treated with naprapathic techniques include:
chronic migraines and tension headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica and tmj (jaw) disorders
recreational and sport-related injuries, such as sprains, strains and whiplash
age-related joint, neck, and back pain find great relief from naprapathic therapy

Doctor of Naprapathy
The naprapathic practitioner bases their analysis on physical inspection of the musculoskeletal system, range of motion assessments and a detailed patient history. They also assess stress levels and nutritional status because an imbalance in these areas may signal trouble within the musculoskeletal structure.
